Dr. Vijayashree Muthe MBBS, DPM. is a renowned psychiatrist in Jalgaon.

She graduated (MBBS) from the prestigious Grant Medical College and JJ group of Hospitals, Mumbai and completed her post graduate Diploma in Psychiatry (DPM) from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai.

She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental health, Pathways foundation Kovai and Certificate in Child centered Play therapy, American association of Play therapy, USA.

She has worked as lecturer in Psychiatry at ‘Maharashtra Institute of Mental Health Pune’ and also holds an International experience of working as Medical Officer in Psychiatry at Institute of Mental Health, Woodbridge Hospital, Singapore.

Her tenure as Chief program officer of District Mental Health Program (DMHP), Jalgaon was much appreciated.

She has been actively involved in conducting workshops on mental health for various professionals including Healthcare Workers, Government Officials, Police Officers, Corporate – IT Profession.

She has been associated as consultant psychiatrist with various NGOs like ‘Child Helpline’ and School Mental Health Program of DMHP and has participated in programs conducted by these organizations for students, teachers and parents on various psychological issues.

She is practising as consultant psychiatrist at Muthe Hospital, Jalgaon since last 10 years and has extensive experience in managing various psychiatric disorders.
